This country house, known as Can Companys de Dalt, is listed as a level 1 heritage asset by the Barcelona Provincial Council; therefore, the main objective is to recover the original volume and features of the protected main building.

The proposal is still to be defined, as work is currently focused on conserving the complex to prevent the increase of the differential settlement it suffers and the water ingress that is damaging the original structure.
However, the central volume is in a very poor state of preservation, so it will have to be demolished and a new volume proposed with a traditional design in keeping with the original features of the complex.
